Staff Director to Sheriff John W. Mina

Blessed by God to be happily married to Dan Hilley, Sergeant with OCSO, and step mom to two amazing boys. She started in 2006 as a law enforcement officer at the University of Central Florida where she also earned her Master’s in Criminal Justice. In 2008, Lieutenant Hilley moved to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and has served since. She has since worked in a variety of units as a Deputy, Corporal, and Sergeant to include Gang Enforcement, Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation, Tactical Anti-Crime, Economics, and Youth Services. As a Lieutenant she has served as the General Investigations Unit Lieutenant in Criminal Investigations Division, the Employee and Labor Relations Manager in the Human Resources Division, and now the Staff Director to Sheriff John W. Mina. Lieutenant Hilley is also the Assistant Team Commander of the Hostage Negations Team (negotiator 12 years) and member of the Legislative Affairs Team (5 years).
