Biography
Chase Skylar DeMayo, M.MSc, is the Associate Vice President of Partnerships with the Greater Orlando Sports Commission, where he develops strategic relationships that strengthen Central Florida’s position as a global destination for sports and business. Born and raised in Central Florida, DeMayo has built his career on service, leadership, and a commitment to his community.
A former United States Air Force Public Affairs Officer, DeMayo trained at the Defense Information School and was stationed at Langley Air Force Base. There, he documented the missions and experiences of service members, honing communication and leadership skills that continue to guide his professional path. Following medical retirement, he transitioned into civilian leadership roles, carrying forward the discipline, adaptability, and purpose instilled through military service.
Dedicated to advocacy, DeMayo has become a respected voice for veterans. His story has been featured in the best-selling book We Touched Heaven and in the documentary What Every Soul Knows: The Joy of Remembering Who We Really Are. He has spoken internationally, including to medical professionals at Johns Hopkins University, where he addressed the unique challenges faced by veterans. His work has been highlighted by Fox, CNN, ABC, NBC, and other major outlets, underscoring his ability to inspire diverse audiences.
Academically, DeMayo holds a Bachelor of Science in Alternative Medicine from Everglades University, a Master of Metaphysical Sciences, and graduate studies in psychology with a specialization in life coaching. He is currently a doctoral candidate in Holistic Counseling. This foundation allows him to bring a holistic perspective to leadership, health, and human potential.
