“The veteran population holds a special place in my heart as a doctor in psychology, largely due
to my grandfather, who was a proud veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. His service and the
challenges he faced after returning home gave me firsthand insight into the unique mental health
struggles that many veterans endure. This personal connection drives my passion for supporting
veterans, understanding their resilience, and helping them navigate the emotional and
psychological difficulties that can arise from their service. In honoring his legacy, I feel a deep
responsibility to give back to those who have sacrificed so much.”
