Matt Fair

Matt Fair served 28 years commissioned service in the Army prior to retiring as a Colonel and joining the Orlando modeling and simulation (M&S) industry. Currently Director for Training Solutions, he held other program and business development positions in the M&S industry prior to joining Tactical Micro. Before retirement Matt’s military assignments included: Deputy PEO, PEO STRI; Project Manager, Future Force (Simulations); Project Manager, Instrumentation, Targets and Threat Simulators; Product Manager, Ground Combat Training Systems, PM TRADE; and numerous operational Cavalry assignments and various acquisition positions. Graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, Matt also holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington. His military education includes Airborne and Ranger Schools, Command and General Staff College, Defense Systems Management College, and the Army War College Fellowship at the University of Texas, Austin. Engaged in the Orlando M&S community since 1996, Matt actively participates in numerous volunteer activities supporting our Warfighters. He is currently serving on the Sunshine Chapter of AUSA Board of Governors and on the Board of Directors of the Central Florida Chapter of NDIA.
